While attending the University of Oregon a friend and I were spending alot of time logging into Amiga Bulletin Board Systems (BBS) around the United States. One thing we found in common with almost all of them was a humor archive and we downloaded as much of this humor as we could lay our hands on. After having our fill of reading the masses of this unformated, poorly worded, hard to read stuff we thought we could provide a service to the BBS community and began putting together the BBS Humor Digest. We produced and distributed this for over a year until our jobs overcame us. Enjoy this humor from my past.

I had not look at these files for many years, and now after reviewing them, I’ve decided that I am going to remove these from my site. The content of many of the jokes would be quite objectionable to many people, so I have decided that I am going to go through them with a fine tooth comb and them re-post the majority of them as blog entries over the course of the next couple of years. Sorry for any disappointment this might cause some people, but I feel it is for the best of all concerned.
