SAINT LOUIS. McDonald’s Corporation announced today their most ambitious advertising plan to date; the construction of a 2nd arch in Saint Louis abutting the current arch to mimic the famous Golden Arches which have made the company famous.

“Everyone who knows and loves McDonald’s is drawn to the arches” said McDonald’s press speaker Mark Handeroff, “and because of this draw we have partnered with the city of Saint Louis to make this a win-win for both the citizens of this great City and our corporation.”

In the same way the ballparks have been sponsored by corporations, McDonald’s always one to think bigger, developed this idea from the vision of current company vice- presidents 6 year old daughter Michelle. “Its quite a funny story.” stated Mr. Handeroff . “Michelle and Mr. Langert were watching a game at Busch Stadium when she looked up at the arch and said ‘Daddy that almost looks like a McDonald’s sign!’ Mr. Langert was so intrigued by her comment that he mulled it over for the week-end and then proposed his idea at the next board meeting, and the rest is history.”
